Dining With "R" Stars on Tuesday, June 15
This is your chance to dine with your local Olathe legislators, none of whom voted to support any tax increases or massive spending increases in the recent legislative session.
The third annual Dining with "R" Stars event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Granite City at Blackbob and 119th in Olathe on June 15. The cost is $75/per person or $100/per couple.
Legislators and candidates agreeing to participate include Senator Julia Lynn, Judiciary Chair Rep. Rep Lance Kinzer, Speaker Pro Tem Arlen Siegfreid, and Secretary of State candidate, attorney, law professor and honorary Olathean Kris Kobach.

Fun & Freedom Picnic on Saturday, June 26
Join us for our Fun & Freedom Picnic at at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop in Olathe on Saturday, June 26 from 10:00 a.m to 2:00 p.m. The cost to attend is $5/person and $10/family. The location is on Kansas City Road between Ridgeview and Santa Fe.
You will have the opportunity to hear from federal, state, and local candidates and also participate in two straw polls:
Standard One-Man One-Vote Straw Poll
This will be $2 a person and each person will only be allowed one vote.
"Acorn" Straw Poll
In this poll, you can vote early and vote often! For $2/vote, you can vote as many times as you want and stuff the ballot box!
Note: If you want to vote once in each poll, you will have to pay $2 in each poll.
